Jeepite, also known as Detroit agate or Motor City agate, is old automotive paint which has hardened sufficiently to be cut and polished. It was formed from the buildup of layers of enamel paint slag on tracks and skids on which cars were hand spray-painted, which have been baked numerous times…..Is that wonderfully fun or what.

Soooo….My newly designed pendants do have Jeep paint in its unique layers. Depending on the manufacturing plant layers of Fordite or Chevyite may show up as well. A piece in my collection actually has a paint layer exactly like my 2002 Wrangler.

So consider adding a piece of Jeepite over your duck flock as well. And for my non Jeep owners/friends you will be “ stylin” in your rare one of a kind pendant or maybe you own a Ford or a Chevy.
